We have a mutual friend, Jay Albergo, who brought Adam along with him to a party at Erika's home in June 2008. Jay began to bring Adam to other gatherings attended by a variety of mutual friends. Phone numbers were exchanged for the sole purpose of sharing chain text messages that most normal people detest. Sparks started to fly, one thing lead to the next, Erika finally gathered the courage to ask Adam on a date (I know, right?!).
Our first date occurred February 2, 2009. We went to a Mexican restaraunt and then bowling. Adam won 2 out of 3 games. We have since spent every day by each other's side. On February 8, 2009 Adam asked Erika to be his girlfriend! After quite some time, on February 13, 2009, Adam confessed his love by stating "I am falling in love with you."

So after nagging Adam from my birthday in august to christmas, Adam finally popped the question in the best way possible! January 10th,2012 I came home from work Adam goes "Erika I got you a present today, so close your eyes and open your hands." So I did. Adam places a giant diamond ring paper weight in my hand and goes "Surprise!!!" I was like "ha ha you're so funny!" I continued to whine and cry about him being so mean to me by playing such a horrible prank on me, 15 minutes later as I was still sitting on the floor sulking. Adam comes over and says "how about this one instead?" while holding my ring in front of him.. I replied "What is that? Is that real?" Adam replies "Erika, be quiet and put it on!!" My reply "But, you didn't ask me right?". He couldn't of picked a better way to propose to me. It makes me laugh when I think about it and I cant wait to spend the rest of my life with him! |
Picking out our bridal party was kinda tricky, it had it ups and downs but we finally got it right! We picked an amazing group of people that we wanted to be by our side on our big day!! Introducing our bridal party:
